Feb. 20th, 2006 @ 02:18 pm So, the SELF Challenge starts today

I'm going to start packing a gym bag and taking it with me to Nordstrom's so when I get off work I can head straight to the gym. I usually have about four hours between jobs and, let's face it, I usually screw around on the computer for at least one of those hours before I go nap. So now, I will work out and then nap.

The workout challenge for this week is three thirty minute cardio sessions and two twenty minute weight sessions. So, my workout schedule will be as follows:

M: None

Tues: None, date with boy

Wed: 30 min treadmill, 20 min weights

Thurs: 30 min elliptical

Friday: None

Saturday: 30 min treadmill, 20 min weights

Sunday: None

Their eating plan is a little impractical for someone who works as much as I do and has no time to cook. And they want you to stay under 1600 for weight loss, which simply isn't enough food for me on days when I work both jobs. So, My modified SELF challenge will be to stay under 1900 calories on non-workout days and under 2100 on workout days.

I'm at 920 for today.

I'll have a Blackened Chicken Salad for dinner, which will put me at 1329. A luna bar before work will make 1509 and leave me 400 hundred calories of wiggle room. Which I need at work. Snacking bad!

Yesterday went okay. I met all my goals, though I probably shouldn't have had garlic bread with my soup at work. What killed an otherwise good day is when I got home, I ate a bunch of leftover pesto pasta. I wasn't hungry and shouldn't have eaten it. Oh well.

Todays goals:

1. 40oz of water
2. 2 veggie servings
3. 1 fruit serving
4. No boredome eating
